Pokemon Battle Revolution Review

One of the largest franchises in video game history has games focused on its portable consoles, but they typically make some sort of 3D battle simulator for their home consoles.  The Wii was no exception.

The Good

• Gorgeous 3D Models and arenas
• Customizable 3D avatar
• Good Music, narration, and SFX
• Battle with your pokemon from Heart Gold, Soul Silver, Platinum, Diamond, and Pearl
• Wifi Battles

The Bad

• You have to have a handheld Pokemon to play, no rentals in this game
• no minigames
• no adventure mode

The Verdict

Though, its a very pretty game and has some nice feature its not near worth $50.  IT's basically just a glorified battle simulator that cannot even act as it's own stand alone game in the series.  Pokemon Stadium and Coliseum are a lot better.
