Mario Kart 7 Review

The seventh game in the Mario Kart series has hit 3DS.  This series is loved by many and has been one of the most popular series of games since its debut on Super NES.

The Good

• Beautiful Graphics
• Doing tricks from your Karts
• Customizable Carts
• Lots of Items
• 32 Beautiful Designed Courses
• Online Multiplayer that Works really well
• Gathering Coins to unlock karts
• The Game Controls Very Well
• 3D effect is good
• Glider and underwater propeller for your kart

The Bad

• The Character Roster has been scaled back to 16 + Miis
• First Person view is the only way to use the gyroscope

The Verdict

This game was excellent all around.  Though I would have enjoyed to see the gyroscope used in 3rd person view and a roster of 20 characters it isn't enough for me to dock points.  The characters chosen are really good and well polished and the controls with the circle pad work flawlessly.
