Kirby Star Allies Review

Kirby has been a mainstay character for Nintendo for a very long time and his first big outing on the Nintendo Switch is here!

Pros

• Beautiful HD graphics
• Great soundtrack with new tunes and remixes of old ones
• Up to 4 players on 1 console
• Interesting story mode and some fun side modes
• Tons of cool powerups
• Friends can change their own powerup at will

Cons

• The game is too short sporting only 42 regular levels
• One of the side modes is just a dumbed down version of the main story
• The game is far too easy

The Verdict

Kirby star Allies is an excellent game but is so short it feels like a demo.  I don't honestly see myself returning to this as often as other games in the series.  Still a worth while play for Switch owners.
