A New Zelda Adventure, with a New Link and New Graphics

One of Nintendo's biggest franchises The Legend of Zelda is getting another title on the Wii.  This game has a bit of a change to it from Twilight Princess.  The graphics are different as is the gameplay.  In this one the gameplay made a big tune up but graphic wise got a throw down.  Graphics are still gorgeous, but are no longer realistic like in Twilight Princess.  Now the game looks like a Monet painting.  It's nice, but I think everyone will agree that Twilight Princess was a more graphically appealing game.
As far as gameplay goes.  They added in support for Wii Motion plus and everywhere that you move the remote Link will move his sword.  Also, they changed the A button from roll to dash.  So, you can hold it and run really fast and like in Assassin's Creed you can even run up walls.  There are all kinds of new weapons as well including the beetle photographed above, which most likely is a replacement for the boomerang.  Also, the whip from spirit tracks makes an appearance as well.  Also, the game takes a piece from Monster Hunter Tri in the sense that the action doesn't stop when drinking a potion or digging a weapon out of inventory.  Some people may find this kind of challenging or annoying, but they seem to pull it off really well making it where you hold a button in and use the Wii Remote as a dial.  Monsters on this one actually block your attacks so, you really have to use the sword to attack around their blocks.  It looks like this could be the most challenging and best Zelda yet.  Hopefully they will crank up the difficulty on bosses because Twilight Princess was slightly disappointing on how easy it was.  We will keep you updated on this game as new information comes available.  Until then get set for a new Zelda in early 2011.
