What is a Computer?

Apple and Microsoft have been arguing the case of what a computer is.  Apple
claims their iPad is now a computer thanks to the new Apple Keyboard.
Microsoft claims their Surface is a computer and the iPad is not because the
iPad runs apps instead of "Desktop Programs" and the iPad's keyboard has no
trackpad.  So, what is a computer?

The definition for computer on Dictionary.com is "a programmable electronic
device designed to accept data, perform prescribed mathematical and logical
operations at high speed, and display the results of these operations.
Mainframes, desktop and laptop computers, tablets, and smartphones are some of
the different types of computers."

Right there.  Tablets and Smartphones are computers.  Maybe not of the
traditional sense, but we are in the day and age where laptops and desktops are
becoming more obscure and being used more for business and eduction while
tablets are replacing laptops for home users.  It is true the iPad is a very
simplistic computer running IOS.  IOS is a very limited operating system
designed to provide a nice interface and ease of use.

If your not into Windows, and want a powerful Tablet that can perform most
tasks you can do on a Windows device then I would suggest Android.  I have a
Galaxy tab 4 and a 128 gb micro sd card that I use when traveling and a nice
Logitech bluetooth keyboard.  This does the job for me.
