Super Mario 3D Land Review

Mario 3D Land marks the start of a new style of 3D Mario games.  It's new play style is like a cross from Mario Land and Mario 64.

The Good

• Awesome use of 3D
• Great Graphics
• Lots of Levels
• 3 Star Coins in each level
• Play as Mario or Luigi
• Bonus adventure with new harder levels

The Bad

• There is no true way to 100% this game
• Some of the later levels are too similar to the early ones
• Map was too plain would have prefered more like Super Mario World

The Verdict

Mario 3D Land is a must have for 3DS owners.  It is a great game and a brilliant introduction to the new style of 3D Mario games.  Many levels feel like they were taken out of Mario Galaxy minus the ability to go upside down.
