Captain Olimar Returns to Smash

Masahiro Sakurai recently announced on Smashbros.com that Captain Olimar will be returning to Smash Bros. 4.  So, get ready to brawl with the captain and his Pikmin.  Hopefully we will get more character announcements in the near future.
