Super Paper Mario Review

Super Paper Mario takes a new spin on the Paper Mario series switching it from a turn based RPG to an action RPG.  Something that is considered a huge change in the series.

The Good

• Awesome graphics
• 3D flipping effect
• Play as 4 different major characters in the series
• The story is arguably the best in a Mario game
• Leveling system was interesting
• 2 Pits of 100 Trials
• Lots of sidequests

The Bad

• Sometimes while in 3D the camera did not work correctly
• Some bosses were too easy

The Verdict

Though Super Paper Mario is a controversial game in the series there is no denying the great story, graphics, and gameplay found in this game.  Many people were not ready to accept a new style of play in the series and many missed out on this masterpiece.  There is nothing I would personally change about this game because it was very well done and very polished.
